Weary of anonymity and united by their struggle for supreme domination, five megalomaniacal villains joined forces and became the Superfiends. Having assembled their lair in an abandoned trailer park overlooking Mondo City, they focus on developing the ultimate evil plot that will secure their place among history's most dreaded criminals. Armed with a passion for apocalyptic designs and an ironclad resolve to conquer, they vie for attention from the world's most famous superheroes, hoping that a confrontation will put them on the map. However, their efforts are consistently overshadowed by Clutch Corp, a conglomerate of far more successful baddies who conduct their business from the comfort of their high rise headquarters. In addition to the corporate espionage they face from their powerful competitors, the Superfiends encounter opposition at every turn, whether it be from a backfired scheme or simply the interference of an ordinary city official. Undaunted, they press on, balancing their lust for power with the taxing daily routine of running a criminal organization.
